his life at the age of eleven, but because the life he did live displayed
a courage and sensitivity to the world around him.
He couldn't understand what we are doing to our planet. The poisons we dump into our skies and rivers. The neglect we show for our precious plants and animals. How, he wondered, could we do such things? Of course we all wonder. But that is where Clint was different. He didn't just wonder. He acted. He started a club for kids dedicated to peaceful Earth-saving Actions. He called it
(click here to see the KSE Video) (Info for Instructors and Families) After Clint died, his mother and father established Kids for Saving Earth(KSE) as a nonprofit organization with thousands of kids doing good Earthworks. KSE Kids gave speeches at the UN, rode on a KSE float in President Bill Clinton's inaugural parade and participated in thousand of grass roots activities to help protect the environment. In 1994, Clint's father William died of cancer. Although Clint's Mom did not work for KSE for a short time, she is now the President of Kids for Saving Earth Worldwide with a network of over 7,000 schools and environmentally concerned kids and adults. The mission of Kids for Saving Earth is to educate, inspire, and empower children to protect the Earth's environment. Kids for Saving Earth provides action-oriented, educational materials, posters, music, and other information support for environmentally concerned schools, instructors, families and kids. Many of our programs have been adapted to the Internet to make it faster and less costly to provide Earth-savers with updated information. Kids for Saving Earth provides educational materials, posters, and information support for environmentally concerned kids and adults.
